Who doesn't love watching videos? These will give you a bird's eye view of interviews/activities with some of the original Navajo Code Talkers.
OK, I know how much you like to look up information on the net. These links will let you do that, but with a little guidance. They are age appropriate (readable), relevant to your topic, contain correct information, are interesting, and are well made.
